At Home Gel Removal

You've been getting gel manicures for years. It's something you can trust to last for weeks without chipping when you're typing on your computer for hours, tackling that DIY home project or doing the dishes after dinner each night. But what happens when you can't make it in to get them removed once they've grown out (thanks waterless services for lasting forever)?

We've created an At Home Gel Removal Kit so that you can take care of your nails from the comfort of your own home!

Step 1: Empty at home removal kit and set up your space on top of a towel.

Step 2: Use the nail file to remove the top coat of the gel from each nail. File thoroughly, but be careful not to file all the way down to the nail.

Step 3: Apply acetone generously to the cotton pad on each of the foil pieces provided. If you don’t have someone to help you, you may want to only do one hand at a time!

Step 4: Wrap each nail tightly  with the foil pieces and make sure that the cotton section is directly on top of your nail/gel.

Step 5: Wait 10-15 minutes depending on how many layers of gel you are removing.

Step 6: Remove one finger’s foil and test by scraping the gel off with the flat end of an orangewood stick to see how easily the gel removes. If the gel is flaking and easy to remove, continue with all fingers.

Step 7: Use the orange buffer to remove any remaining stubborn pieces of gel.

Step 8 (Optional): Trim and shape your nails with clippers and a file if needed. At this point, we recommend applying cuticle oil and hand moisturizer!
